There is a problem with running the Software under Mac OS 10.3. The ECHSA Database Software depends on Derby (formerly called Cloudscape, from IBM), which doesn't support Mac OS X 10.3. It's probably possible to run the DataCollectionSoftware on Mac OS X, using a network installation.
According to Jason Brome's Weblog, there is a workaround for Derby on Mac OS X 10.3.
