Some reports, like Gold Standards, use the operations' properties to filter the data, like case category or age group.

This reports also contains the thirty days mortality. In order to calculate the mortality, a set of patients must be determined, mortality is defined in regard to a set of patients.

The patient belongs to the set and is included in mortality calculation, if her/his first operation matches the given condition.

Examples of a condition:

• Age group, neonates
• Case category, CPB
